Engineering Dimensions

Engineering Dimensions is published quarterly by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and is distributed to all PEO-licensed professional engineers. The magazine provides information relevant to the practice of professional engineering and promotes awareness of the Professional Engineers Act and the activities of the association.

In this issue:   Much has been made in Engineering Dimensions of the so-called industrial exception and the problems it poses for PEO. Little has been made, however, of the lessons learned from the effort to have the exception repealed. This issue, we look at how the exception is proving to be a learning experience for PEO in terms of enforcing the Professional Engineers Act and in working with the government to rectify this long-standing concern.
