Engineering Dimensions

Engineering Dimensions is published quarterly by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and is distributed to all PEO-licensed professional engineers. The magazine provides information relevant to the practice of professional engineering and promotes awareness of the Professional Engineers Act and the activities of the association.
With increasing public and government expectations that practitioners stay up to date with their engineering knowledge and skill, there is increased pressure on regulators somehow to prove licensees are fully competent to do the work they do. This issue looks at what may be in store for continuing professional development, quality assurance and compulsory versus voluntary compliance.
